The Church
As part of the community the church provides stability to a community and a place for fellowship and personal restoration.

The Medical Clinic

Medical Clinic at Cyimbili

There is a small, very basic, yet critical,  medical clinic in the community of Cyimbili consisting of several offices, two intake rooms, four examining rooms, one maternity room and two in-patient rooms housing 11 patients.    Five dedicated medical personnel work at the clinic and a doctor visits one Friday each month.  Over 100 people are seen at the clinic each day for a wide variety of ailments from minor infections, respiratory and stomach ailments to HIV aids and malaria. The majority of babies born in Cymbili are born in the maternity room with a simply stirrup chair and a shower. There is currently no electricity, running water or refrigeration at the clinic.

There is an immediate need for medications, medical supplies, electricity, refrigeration, sanitation facilities, a hand-washing station,  furniture and  medical supplies.  There is a long-term need for a facility rehabilitation and expansion, modern equipment  and a doctor in-residence.
